Staff for
initiating change in lifestyle, place of residence, or your behavior. Ritual is
very unstructured. Buried in a secluded, protected spot rock enclave that has
a small spring and a natural stone child's chair. Easy
driving access then appros. 1.5 mile round trip hike at 7,000 feet on unmarked
but easy to follow trail. Scenic views. GPS required. Buried 11/07. Site is accessible
year round but not after heavy snow or rain. A few miles of dirt road driving.

Rattle for
gaining perspective. Involves a sea/sky ritual done on site and 28 days later
at another high place of your choice. Requires some preparation and materials.
This is a beautiful piece made from shells and glass found in Florida. Easy
driving access and short steep uphill hike at 7,000 feet in rocky area that is
not a well marked trail but has plenty of landmarks. Very

to call forth the spirits of the north, the ancient ones. Ritual must be done
on site but thereafter wherever you wish. Nine mile RT moderate - difficult hike
from about 7, 00 up to 8,500 feet on established trail. At the base of a tree
under mountain peaks and by a mountain lake,
very beautiful area. Can camp at site. GPS required. Buried 8/07 Site

Staff for
the protection of a place, sealing off against evil spirits. Ritual does not need
to be done on site. Object may be carried and used when/where it is needed. 3
mile round trip with an easy-moderate hike at 7k feet on established trail. Near
a large rock in a wooded area. GPS required.

Rattle - to divinitate numbers. Simple ritual may be done anytime after
excavation or at a later date. May not to be used for gambling No
hiking, minimal beach walking. Buried near unusual rock
formations. Site is accessible year round, minimal beach walking. Just
off paved highway. No

Receptor - to recall, hold and release memories of a person, place
or object. This is an extensive but powerful ritual. You must be near the burial
site for 1 tide cycle for the first part of the ritual. The second part involves
a short ritual every day for 30 days at a location of your choice. No
hiking, minimal beach walking. Site
is accessible year round, minimal beach walking. Just off paved highway. No hiking
or GPS required. Buried 1/08

Receptor for
the union of opposites. Ritual must be done at the excavation
site in Florida. Follow up ritual must be done on the Oregon Coast
to complete the cycle but may be done up to 2 years after. This is
a very powerful ritual and object that requires a significant commitment of time
and travel but is worth it. Minimal
hiking required on beach, GPS recommended but not essential. Buried on a clothing
optional beach 1/08. Site is accessible year round. Just off paved highway. Oregon
site is similar but requires several flights of beach stairs to negotiate. #FL-04 | | Potency
Amulet & Necklace, for creativity, personal power, fertility, invoking
the yang, male energy. Ritual would be best done on site when few people are on
the beach (in the off season or at night). Ritual can be done in another beach
location. Buried
under a large phallic-shaped rock. You
will need to build fire for the ritual. There is no hiking or GPS required. Buried

All
are approximately the size of a small hand tool, handmade by the artist and assembled
from found objects, natural materials, beads, charms, hair, fur, leather. They
are similar to my small assemblage sculptures.

Objects
and materials will age and change during their time within the earth. This change
and aging is part of the process and in no way diminishes the objects appeal,
in fact this is meant to further charge and empower the object.
